B.Com. (B & I), B.M.S. department starts its activities with an orientation programe for the first year students. This orientation programme aimed at creating awareness amongst students about university rules for their course, college discipline, passing standard, library facility, computer lab facility, different activities conducted by the college, industrial visit as a part of their academic activity etc.
Parents meetings are conducted for all three years students.
Industrial visits are integral part of academic activity under self finance courses. It enhances student’s practical knowledge and exposed to practical working system. . It enhances student’s practical knowledge and are exposed to the nitty gritty corporate world.
T.Y. B.Com. (Banking & Insurance) students visit Reserve Bank of India and monetary museum every year.
Bank visit is organized for F.Y.B.Com. (Banking & Insurance) students to create awareness about banking operations.
Social visit for TYBMS students are part of their academic activities.
To bright the light on how markets work practically, students of TYBMS visit Bombay Stock Exchange.
First and Second year students visit Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust to explore the knowledge of export and import.
Guest lectures are organised for third year students to give them guidance regarding subject knowledge.
Career guidance and Placement activities are conducted throughout the year.
An inter-collegiate competition “AROMA – The Fragrance of Talent” is organized every year. The main motto of this competition is to awaken the potential of the youth and to channelise it further.
During the academic year, students participated in many workshops, seminars and also attended many guest lectures are organized by different departments or committees.
